We all saw the successful and symbiotic relationship between Ronda Rousey, Dana White, and the rest of the UFC that formed over the past couple of years.

Not only was she dominant within the Octagon, but she nabbed endorsements, TV and movie deals, and became the face of MMA for a little stint there - that is, before she was KO'd by Holly Holm back in November.

Could Anastasia Yankova have been the next Rousey?

Without comparing the two directly, I think it's fair to say that a really good looking female fighter who can also win consistently is extremely marketable. And that's what the UFC could have had in Anastasia Yankova.

I mean, look at her:

But, not only is she gorgeous. The Bellator flyweight is also 2-0 so far and looking poised to have a pretty strong career.

“All that matters is that I know the conditions of that offer in UFC, and I know the conditions of Bellator. At this stage, all the Bellator advantageous conditions, including in financial terms. Plus is also very important fad monopoly: UFC is not allowed anywhere else to act. And important for me to box and even in Russia.”

Here's some footage of her fighting Sammoudi Soumeya

Coming from a professional kickboxing background, she has what it takes to get the wins necessary to cement her in the elite ranks of Bellator. But Dana White and the UFC are probably shaking their heads right now.
