Jon Jones and Anderson Silva recently met up in New York City, a place that still disallows MMA events to be held legally within its borders. Jon Jones, a native of Gotham, is one of the main proponents for making the changes in legislation that would allow for it, but there are no firm plans for the ban to be lifted.

That doesn't mean you can't spar in the Big Apple, and that's exactly what the two friends and greats Anderson Silva and Jon 'Bones' Jones did a couple of weeks ago.

"Big storms are coming," Silva said on Tuesday’s conference call. "That’s all I have to say. Big storms are coming. Everyone has to get ready."

We'll see about that.
