Dwayne Johnson (a.k.a. The Rock) never ceases to amaze me with his generosity. He's always doing big things on social media and most recently took to Instagram on Sunday to share the story of him and his "Uncle Tonga," better known as former wrestler "King Haku."
Tonga was trained by The Rock's grandfather in the 1970s, and the two go way back. Many years ago, The Rock was going to get his shot with the WWE and King Haku was nice enough to lend him some trunks so that he could perform.
Here's how The Rock, now one of the most famous ex-wrestlers ever, paid him back for this favor.
Who knows if The Rock would've made it to where he's at today without those #LuckyPurpleTrunks... I guess we have Uncle Tonga to thank for one of the best careers of any professional wrestler, ever.
