Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo's headliner fight in Las Vegas at UFC 194 just reeled in $10.1 million and a lot of that money came from Conor McGregor and his uniquely annoying but also bad-ass way of being.

He's an intriguing name to put in lights, and with many fights on the horizon with him defending his title now... the sky is truly the limit for him. In fact, he had this to say about money and success in the world of MMA.

“I’m only warming up. So I said to (UFC Chairman) Lorenzo (Fertitta) and I said to (UFC President) Dana (White), I’m bringing these big numbers.”

He also added,

“I’m going straight up. The sky is the limit.”

UFC money isn't boxing money quite yet

A May megafight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao broke all business records with a $72 million gate and 4.6 million pay-per-view buys. McGregor hopes to be the catalyst that spurs the UFC to that level.

We'll see if he puts his money where his mouth is. I mean, he always kind of does.
