Earlier this year, back in August, a man by the name of Jarrod Haschert, a Marine stationed in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, did what his buddies probably didn't think he had the courage to do. He asked Ronda Rousey to be his date to their Marine ball.

Here's the video that 4.8 million people saw:

He said,

"You are my celebrity crush. I love everything that you do, and I think that you are a phenomenal person which is why it would be my honour to take you to the Marine Corps Ball on December 11. I really hope this doesn't get in the way of your training. I hope you take this into consideration, because if you do, you will truly be making my dream come true."

We all know Ronda is capable of getting fly, and in this case she probably didn't mind having somewhere to go where she could take her mind of getting KO'd by Holly Holm for once. She even said it herself to TMZ...

“I promised I’d go. It’s an honor to be asked. Honestly I probably would stay on my couch crying and eating ice cream for another month if he didn't ask me."

Here's the photo of the lovely couple at the ball...

Glad to see she made good on her promise, and that's awesome for Jarrod! Thanks for your service man, and I hope you had an awesome night this past weekend.
