Great news for any UFC fan who has been following the sport for a substantial amount of time. Two amazing fighters who've faced off before - and are both Brazilian - are rumored to be duking it out at UFC 197 in March.
It will be a rematch of their now-infamous fight at UFC 126 in 2011. A lot of time and controversy (mostly surrounding PEDs) has gone down since that time, and we now have two fighters on the tail end of their careers who both are happy to get another crack at each other.
Ronaldo 'Jacare' Souza is one of many who thinks that this fight is a bad idea for Silva:
I believe the result would be the same. Anderson is impressive, but, in my opinion, as a friend and seeing him as guy that is helping me now, I think he should fight again before fighting Belfort to get his rhythm back.
Belfort is in a strong rhythm now, he fought three times in a row now. Anderson spent some time off, had this issue now and spent a year off, so I think Anderson should fight again first.
Keep in mind, this fight hasn't been officially booked but it's very likely to happen. Who you got?
Hopefully, we get another dope knockout out of this one.
