Watch The Survivor Series Kick-Off Show!
We kick off with a video package of Survivor Series, highlighting everything on the line while focusing on both the Goldberg V Lesnar and Team RAW vs Team SmackDown LIVE matches.
First up is the Team RAW vs Team SmackDown LIVE Women's match. We find out that Nikki Bella is mysteriously injured, but Natlaya steps in for her — to the crowd's delight. And the match begins.
5-On-5 Women's RAW vs SmackDown LIVE Tag Team Match
Things start off cohesive but it isn't long until Charlotte tags herself in. Sasha responds by tagging herself in and all hell breaks loose as both teams attack each other. However, Nia Jax has no problem breaking everything up with ease. Team SmackDown need to regroup!
Nia Jax steps in and nobody can take her out. Becky Lynch gets squashed, Alexa Bliss gets squashed, Noami gets caught. Natalya has better luck but Jax dominates again. After a mistake, Carmella is eliminated quickly by Alicia Fox. Right afterwards, Fox is eliminated by Alexa Bliss. I kind of feel like these are going predictably quick. Noami is eliminated by countout after taking once heck of a bashing into the ringpost.
The Boss is in and dominates Team SmackDown, taking out both Bliss and Naomi at once, when suddenly Sasha is eliminated by Natalya with a rollup! I must admit I didn't see that one coming. Charlotte's in and delivers a few chops to Natalya. Nattie fights back and comes close until Jax interrupts. Charlotte delivers a big boot to eliminate Natalya. RAW in the lead again. All hell breaks loose between SmackDown rivals Lynch and Bliss but Jax takes the two of them down. After a little dominating from Jax, Lynch locks her in the Dis-Arm-Her and Jax taps out!
An angry Nia Jax rams Becky into the barricade. Bliss steps in but the distraction leads to her elimination at the hands of Charlotte. And then there was Becky Lynch all alone to take on Charlotte and Bayley. After a little back and forth action Bayley shockingly eliminates Becky Lynch with the Bayley-to-belly!
Winner: Team RAW
After the match, Charlotte destroys Bayley.
Sami Zayn Vs. The Miz (Intercontinental Championship)
There's a lot riding on this one, if Zayn wins, then the Intercontinental Title goes to RAW. Things get physical, and the crowd is behind Zayn. It isn't long until Zayn flies over the rop onto the Miz, much to the fans's delight.
Plenty of counters at the match goes on. As usual, commentators are favoring their own competitors. Zayn gets a near-fall, before Miz locks in Figure Four. Zayn reverse the pressure on the Miz.
Miz spends much of the match mocking Daniel Bryan. As per usual, it backfires as Zayn locks in the Figure Four. Maryse rings the bell and distracts the ref — this has screwjob finish written all over it. And it looks like I'm right, as the distraction allows the Miz to roll Zayn up for the victory.
Winner: The Miz.
Backstage, Ambrose and AJ Styles get into the same old argument about how they'll beat each other at TLC. Shane McMahon manages to calm them both down.

10-on-10 Tag Team Match (RAW vs SmackDown LIVE)
First out, Enzo and Cass excite the crowd before their joined by their teammates, including the New Day, all of whom try to bury SmackDown. Then Team SmackDown are out much more quickly. The eliminations start very quickly, almost too quick to count, including Breezango and shockingly enough, New Day. This is quickly becoming one of those typical matches we see on SmackDown or RAW just used to squash their entire rosters onto the card. Suddenly everyone is a whole lot weaker than they usually are.
The Shining Stars take it upon themselves to try and eliminate American Alpha. Jordan and Gable deliver an electric chair bulldog to eliminate the Shining Stars. We now have a face off between the remaining three teams which ends up with all hell breaking loose. Everyone ends up outside the ring for Heath Slater to jump off onto the pile of men. What a moment for the one man band! Gable delivers an incredible somersault onto the men as well. Some great spots here!
American Alpha is eliminated by Gallows and Anderson. Gallows accidentally ends up ramming Big Cass of the apron, the distraction leaves him wide open to a gore from Rhyno, to eliminate him and Gallows. Rhyno is shockingly and quickly eliminated Enzo Amore. See what I mean by sudden weakness?
The Usos take care on Enzo and Cass, leaving them to take on Cesaro and Sheamus. A great atmosphere in the arena as the last two teams square off. Sheamus throws Cesaro off the cover and attempts to steal it, but the Usos survive. Cesaro goes crazy taking out both Usos with uppercuts, livening up the crowd again. He swings Jey Uso and goes for the sharpshooter when Jimmy Uso takes out his knee, before launching himself onto Sheamus. Jey locks in a half-Boston crab, but Cesaro reverses it back into the sharpshooter. This is a great sequence! Jimmy tries to get involved again but eats a Brogue Kick as Jey taps out for an awesome ending.
Winners: Team RAW.
Backstage, Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley celebrate their success and give Sheamus and Cesaro a Tag Team Title Match tomorrow night on RAW.
Brian Kendrick Vs. Kalisto (WWE Cruiserweight Championship)
Once again, there is a lot riding on this one because if Kalisto wins, he takes the Cruiserweight Championship and the entire division to SmackDown LIVE — which really wouldn't be a bad thing, would it?
Interestingly, we're calling him THE Brian Kendrick again and I'm having 2009 flashbacks. Kendrick shockingly shakes Kalisto's hand. He goes for the unseen attack but Kalisto reverses with a Hurricanrana.
The main story of this match seems to be Kendrick attempting to take off Kalisto's mask. These two are really delivering. Kalisto gets physical outside the ringside before the two launch each other off the top rope.
Out of nowhere, Baron Corbin takes out Kendrick from behind and catches Kalisto in mid-air, hitting the End of Days, ruining a pretty great match. And our dreams of seeing the Cruiserweight title on SmackDown have gone up in smoke.
Winner: Brian Kendrick (via DQ) and Cruiserweight Championship stays on RAW.
Backstage, Daniel Bryan rebukes Corbin for costing SmackDown the Cruiserweight division, telling him that he will deal with him on Tuesday.
5-on-5 Men's Team RAW vs Team SmackDown LIVE
James Ellsworth is out first before Team SmackDown make their way out to the ring. AJ Styles receives a major pop from the audience.
As Team RAW enter the ring, we have ourselves a face-off between both teams and a Y2J chant breaks out. It's champion vs champion as Styles starts things off for Team SmackDown LIVE against RAW's Kevin Owens. The two have each other well-scouted, countering each other's finishers. It isn't long until a "stupid idiot" cant breaks out and Owens tags in Jericho to a major pop. An angry Jericho violently tags in Seth Rollins, who ends up facing off against Dean Ambrose, But once again, we have a stalemate between the two who know each other very well. After tagging himself back in, Jericho squares off against Ambrose as the commentary team bicker about which brand is supreme.
It isn't long until Shane O' Mac gets the tag and begins unloading on Y2J. Jericho quickly fires back, and I can't help but think about how both of these men were involved in the iconic WWE vs WCW Survivor Series tag team match 15 years ago in 2001! We soon have a face-off and everyone is taken down. Despite originally working together, Ambrose and Styles get in each other's faces. All hell breaks loose between them. Shane manages to break everything up but Styles attacks Ambrose from behind, leaving him vulnerable to a power-slam and subsequent elimination from Strowman.
Strowman dominates and delivers a crazy two-handed chokeslam to Styles over the rope. Strowman is stopped by Bray Wyatt momentarily, but he seems to be immune to Wyatt's hypnosis. He attacks Wyatt and attempts to destroy the table, until...RKO outta nowhere on the table! Wyatt and Orton set up Strowman for Shane to deliver a flying elbow through the table. What an unbelievably awesome moment!
Strowman tries to make it in the ring, but is held back by Ellsworth from under the ring. He is eliminated by countout. Strowman stalks Ellsworth up the stage and throws him off the stage into the table. Back to the match, Jericho works over a very winded Shane McMahon. Shane counters Lionsault and goes for a roll-up but Jericho kicks out. Eventually he gets to Styles who kicks things up a notch. In the midst of his awesomeness, Styles shoves Owens, who doesn't like this at all. Owens interrupts the match and assaults Wyatt with the List Of Jericho and pages fly everywhere, getting himself disqualified. Jericho sees the List and falls to his knees, beside himself. Uh, oh. A distracted Jericho is RKO'd by Randy Orton and eliminated. I sense trouble ahead for JeriKO. Now, for the first time tonight, SmackDown has the advantage.
Rollins gets worked on for a while until he eventually makes the tag to Roman Reigns. Shane unloads on both Rollins and Reigns with an impressive flurry of rights and lefts. He then tries to throw caution to the wind, going coast to coast, but he is brutally speared out of the air by Reigns. Ref decides Shane can't continue and Shane McMahon is eliminated. Meanwhile, Team SmackDown triple team Team RAW.
Roman is worked over by Wyatt until he elbows Wyatt in the face. Rollins gets the hot tag and works over AJ Styles, before launching himself onto Bray Wyatt. Roman saves Rollins from Orton's DDT and the two begin to set up a Shield double powerbomb, until Styles makes the save. Damn, I really wanted that powerbomb!
Dean Ambrose assaults Styles from behind as the audience chants "stupid idiot". The security attempts to restrain Ambrose and Rollins and Reigns make the save, assaulting the security. The audience goes crazy as the Shield reunites and sends AJ Styles through the table. WHAT. A. MOMENT! Rollins pins AJ Styles for the elimination.
Rollins and Reigns hold the ring as the new Wyatts stalk them from outside. Suddenly, Luke Harper appears from nowhere and it's three on one. Rollins neutralizes Harper by launching himself over the top rope as a "this is awesome" chant breaks out. Rollins and Wyatt continue to take it to each other as an "Undertaker"chant breaks out. Rollins ends up flying right into an RKO out of nowhere for the elimination.
It's three on one for Roman who puts up quite the fight, to overwhelming boos. Roman takes out Harper with a spear on the outside and goes for a spear on Wyatt inside the ring only to hit Orton who sacrifices himself for Wyatt. So much action! Wyatt hits Sister Abigail on Roman for the elimination and the win! WHAT A MATCH!
Winners: Team SmackDown LIVE
Brock Lesnar Vs. Goldberg
The atmosphere is electric for this one. Lesnar is out first, as expected, and waits for his opponent as the "Goldberg" chants ring loudly and proudly throughout the arena. Goldberg's music hits to a massive ovation as the veteran makes his way to the ring as only he can.
The introductions aren't done until the combatants are both in the ring — much like a title match — Lesnar is booed mostly, while Goldberg is cheered and well, "Goldberg"ed. After a short face-off, Lesnar lifts Goldberg into the corner in an impressive show of strength. But Goldberg retaliates with a shove, knocking Lesnar to the floor — an even more impressive show of strength. The shocked Lesnar gets up and walks straight into a spear!
The crowd goes nuts as the wounded Lesnar makes it to his feet, Cole and Graves do a great job of telling us how we didn't expect this — and no, we most certainly did not. Lesnar turns around into another spear! And Goldberg does the impossible, lifting the Beast high in the air for a Jackhammer and slamming him to the mat, for the 1, 2, 3!
Well, I don't think anyone expected that match to go the way it did. And while I'm sure there will be many ready to criticize, can I just say — What a moment! Goldberg returned to the ring in amazing shape and gave us all exactly what we wanted to see from him. Whether or not we have seen the last of him is up for debate, but Brock Lesnar was next, and Brock Lesnar was speared. Like I said, what a moment!
Well that was certainly a monumental Survivor Series! Sure, it wasn't perfect, but it was full of awesome moments that had us all marking out. But it also left the WWE's landscape in quite an interesting state: SmackDown was practically declared the dominant brand, but not before RAW could steal a few early victories. Will the Undertaker look for revenge on Ambrose or Styles for almost costing his blue team? Where does Brock Lesnar go from here? And has Goldberg truly placed a beautiful exclamation point on his legendary career, or is there still one more devastating Jackhammer left? Things are certainly going to get interesting from here on out!
Hope you all enjoyed the updates! Until next time WWE Universe!
