Cody Rhodes, a.k.a. the wrestler formerly known as Stardust, isn't afraid to be a heel inside the ring, so it's no surprise that he's playing a villain on an upcoming episode of Arrow.
The ex-WWE star-turned-actor recently shared a new photo from his appearance on the show, where he'll play a gun-toting bad guy named Derek Sampson. According to Comicbook.com, the character is a drug dealer who plans to be a pain in the butt for the Green Arrow and his squad of newbie vigilantes.
This isn't the first time that Rhodes has teased fans about his role on the upcoming episode. Over the summer, he tweeted out a photo of himself in the gym rocking an Arrow hoodie accompanied by the words, "Destroy Queen."
Prior to squaring off on the small screen, Rhodes and actor Stephen Amell had a few squabbles during the wrestler's WWE days.
The pair had a high-profile confrontation during "Monday Night RAW" last year, when Amell jumped out of the stands and into the ring to attack Rhodes. Although we're used to seeing him with a bow and arrow, Amell showed off a sweet double-leg takedown and a few nice elbows.
Amell and Rhodes went at it again at SummerSlam 2015. The actor joined Neville to take on the wrestler, who teamed up with King Barrett.
If all that wasn't enough, they went at it again at Dallas Comic Con 2016 this past February.
Amell and Rhodes will, in a way, finally get to settle the bad blood once and for all on the October 19th episode of Arrow. We have a feeling the Emerald Archer is going to come out on top.
