Is Georges St-Pierre ever going to come back to the UFC? Apparently he wants to, but only on his terms. Recently, Dana White told MMA Junkie that St-Pierre could come back to face the winner of Maia and Woodley after UFC 214 for the welterweight title. The speculation is that it could be for the November return of the promotion to Madison Square Garden.

According to Ariel Helwani, that is not something St-Pierre is interested in. GSP is still very much interested in facing Michael Bisping for the middleweight title. Something he put out on social media last spring.

The comeback seems to always be on hold or on a "TBA" status ever since the press conference was held to announce a fight without a date attached. If the UFC comes back to New York City at Madison Square Garden, they certainly cannot deliver a mediocre main event. It would have to be a pay-per-view and a card close to the same level as UFC 205. St-Pierre could be that headliner but the longer it takes to officially announce a date, venue, and event, it could lose some of the buzz the promotion needs for a Madison Square Garden event.

Do you think this fight will happen? If so, will he come back for a welterweight or middleweight title?
