Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson appears to be on the verge of championship greatness.

After several impressive KOs, he's next in line to fight for the welterweight championship.

Thompson, 13-1, has defeated some of the division's top stars, including Rory MacDonald, Johny Hendricks and Jake Ellenberger. Those were impressive victories, but not as impressive as some of his throwback knockouts, including this one, back in his World Combat League days.

Watch him thrash James Decore here. Thompson was clearly in control the entire fight by a little more than three minutes in, Thompson seals the deal.

Tyron Woodley, pay attention.
