It's not 420 yet, but that's not stopping UFC fighter, Nick Diaz and comedian, Tommy Chong from smoking a gigantic joint.
The two cannabis advocates filmed their smoke session and posted it on SnapChat.
Chong is a famous actor and comedian that is mostly known for his marijuana-themed Cheech & Chong comedy albums and movies with Cheech Marin. He's also known for playing the character of Leo on Fox's That '70s Show. This is not the first time Chong hung out with someone from the MMA world, as he was seen with UFC commentator Joe Rogan on his podcast – the Joe Rogan Experience.
Chong was also vocal about Nick Diaz' 5-year-suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission after testing positive for marijuana metabolites last year. Diaz' suspension was later reduced to eighteen months.
Diaz, on the other hand, hasn't fought since losing a unanimous decision to Anderson Silva (which was later overturned to a 'no contest' because Silva tested positive for androstanolone and androsterone steroids) at UFC 183, in January 2015, as he was suspended for his failed drug test.
Today, Diaz is eligible to return to MMA competition, since his suspension ended in August. He is currently in the USADA testing pool, but fortunately for Diaz, USADA doesn't look for marijuana in their out-of-competition testing. Since Diaz currently has no fights booked, he can smoke all the joints he wants.
