Keanu Reeves definitely isn't a slouch when it comes to preparing for his plethora of action movie roles, especially as the ultimate killing machine, John Wick.
Former special operations officer and tactical weapons expert Aaron Cohen recently released a video of the bearded and disheveled actor working on his firearm skills while getting ready for the upcoming John Wick sequel. Since the assassin is well-versed in all manners of taking an opponent out, Reeves can be seen practicing with all sorts of sidearms, from pistols to automatic rifles.
Cohen writes in the video's opening caption:
"Keanu is one of the hardest working people I've trained. He is the ultimate truth seeker when it comes to understanding and perfecting tactics. He is incredibly humble and I'm truly grateful to have gotten to be a part of his training team for 'John Wick: Chapter 2.'"
This isn't the first time that fans have been able to take a peek at Reeves's rigorous training regimens. Following the release of the first John Wick film, a montage video was released featuring the actor working on his fight choreography for the flick. The clip included Reeves getting some time on the Brazilian jiu-jitsu mats while training in the gi.
Considering how awesome the original film's hand-to-hand combat scenes were, it will be interesting to see how next year's sequel will top them.
John Wick: Chapter 2 hits theaters on February 10, 2017.
