In 2009, fought Satoko Sasaki in a Muay Thai title fight in Japan. In an interview prior to her UFC debut, Joanna proclaimed this fight as the toughest in her career.

MMA fans have gotten used to watching Joanna Jędrzejczyk dominate her opponents with her stand up, but very few have seen footage of Jędrzejczyk's earlier bouts.

Jędrzejczyk's style hasn't changed much from this fight. The hunched stance, constant bouncing on the balls of her feet, and her aggressive nature are all present. In fact, Jędrzejczyk made the Sasaki fight look relatively easy. That is a testament to her ability to adjust to her opponent and use her technique to take advantage of their weaknesses.

Jędrzejczyk may have felt this was her hardest fight prior to the UFC, but she has since faced some pretty stiff competition as UFC champion.

Joanna Champion will have yet another tough test against the ultra-aggressive at . Andrade has the size and strength advantage over Jędrzejczyk, but the cardio and technique lean in the champion's favor.

It'll be interesting to see the adjustments Jędrzejczyk makes against a true power puncher like Andrade and if she can avoid getting caught like in previous fights.
