Conor McGregor might have had to give up his Hollywood debut to train for UFC 202, but he's clearly still interested in acting.

The UFC champion has released some behind-the-scenes footage of the performance capture work he did for the upcoming video game, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

McGregor has previously teased a screenshot of his character, but in a new trailer released earlier today you can catch a glimpse of him in action (alongside Game of Thrones Kit Harrington), performing some vicious ground-and-pound around the 1:42 mark.

The likeness is pretty uncanny!

We don't know much about McGregor's role in the game beyond that brief tease, but it's likely not a huge role. After all, the UFC featherweight champ has an MMA career to focus on, and is rumored to have a fight in the works for later this year. Whether it will be a title defense against interim champion Jose Aldo, or another cross-divisional superfight, remains to be seen.

He was last seen in action at UFC 202, defeating Nate Diaz by majority decision in what many are already calling the Fight of the Year.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare meanwhile is out on November 4, 2016, a little over a week before UFC 205 in New York.
