It's been a day of head kick KOs in main event fights and after decapitated Bethe Correia this morning, Akop Stepanyan continued the trend with a picture-perfect spinning heel kick to end Felipe Cruz's night at

The bout was originally scheduled for the co-main event slot, but after Adam "Primetime" Townsend missed weight by six pounds yesterday for his scheduled headliner with Alexandr Shabliy, the two camps couldn't come to an agreement and the bout was scrapped.

Stepanyan vs. Cruz was elevated to the main event and the Russian took his chance to shine.

The fight started off at a frenetic pace as both men looked to take it to the other early. The Brazilian was loading up on his shots, but failed on multiple occasions find the target and Stepanyan began punish him with some brutal kicks and punches to the body to slow him down.

The finish came with just 23 seconds left in the round as Stepanyan pushed forward and put Cruz's back to the fence. The Russian faked to go low, but then spun with incredible speed and landed a brutal spinning heel kick for the knockout.

Stepanyan walked off with his hands in the air. It was a perfect finish to what was a crazy night of fights in Rostov on Don, Russia.

ACB's new rule that anyone who finishes their fight inside the distance gets a $5k bonus unsurprisingly encouraged fighters to look for the finish. The judges weren't actually required all night as all nine fights were finished either by KO/TKO or submission.

There could be something in this. Fans likes finishes, fighters like money. It sounds like a great recipe to us. Here are all the finishes courtesy of @Jolassanda
