I think we can all agree that what the MMA world needs more than anything right now is a heel turn. He showed flashes of it in his back-and-forth fight with Mickey Gall at UFC on FOX 20, and I know I'm not alone in thinking that "Super" Sage's nice guy act is a little too on point to be completely genuine.

Though he'll never admit to it, Northcutt completed the first step of his eventual heel turn when he was spotted with the Diaz brothers following his loss to Gall last month, leading many of us to wonder just what in the holy Heck (as Sage would probably put it) they could have possibly talked about.

As it turns out, the brothers Diaz were actually inviting the pineapple-shredding Texan to train with them, as Northcutt told Ariel Helwani during The MMA Hour today.

"They mentioned getting some training in in the future," said Northcutt. "They were just super nice guys so it was cool to meet them."

While Northcutt wouldn't commit to a future date to train, it's safe to say that the people have spoken.
