UFC light heavyweight title contender Anthony "Rumble" Johnson has had quite a long career spanning more than 10 years, and seeing him through multiple promotions including World Series of Fighting (WSOF), Titan FC and of course, the UFC.

On this day four years ago, Johnson debuted at 1 as the co-main event, resulting in an absolutely brutal knockout victory over his opponent.

Johnson squared off with D.J. Linderman for a light-heavyweight showdown that would end up taking the Blackzilian team member just a round to finish.

It took only one punch to flatten Linderman, just moments after Johnson complained of an eye poke. The fight was stopped at 3:58 of the first round.

Johnson is set for a title shot at UFC 206, when he faces current UFC light-heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier.

This will be the second time Johnson has faced Cormier. The first time came when Jon Jones was suspended following a hit and run incident, and stepped in to face Johnson for the interim light heavyweight title. Cormier would defeat Johnson via rear-naked choke in the third round of their bout.

Johnson is currently on a three-fight win streak, with his most recent win coming by way of 13-second KO over Glover Teixeira at .
