The Floyd Mayweather/Conor McGregor (non)saga has been pretty fascinating, especially when you realize that Floyd Mayweather hasn't mentioned Conor McGregor's name, despite the barrage of questions aimed at him around a (so far) hypothetical (and becoming more real by the day) matchup with the UFC megastar. It's impressive. Really.

When news broke of their supposed matchup coming to fruition, Mayweather was quick to shoot it down in a Twitter post. Once again, Mayweather expertly dodged McGregor's name, knowing he doesn't give out publicity for free, but today he recognized the Irishman in yet another tweet.

Here's the thing: The NSAC has confirmed that negotiations between the two champs are happening — so are we all just being played? Is this the best PR campaign ever? It's all free and live on Twitter, so is this just the build up to the build up to the eventual fight?

Are Conor and Floyd promotional geniuses?
