Ali Bagautinov has had it pretty damn hard since 2013. His last six fights included Joseph Benavidez, Demetrious Johnson, and Kyoji Hori-freakin'-guchi. Before losing to the top flyweights in the world, he beat Tim Elliott and John Lineker at the tail-end of an 11-fight win streak. Violent Ali-B decided not to renew his UFC contract and hasn't been seen last year. He came back for Fight Nights Global 64, but unfortunately suffered an all-out, hall of fame buzzer-beater head kick knockout at the foot of Tyson Nam.
It doesn't get much closer than that, folks. Ali-B protested at the end, but as you can see he wasn't even conscious when the bell actually rang. Like a marathon runner who raises his hands at the last minute and gets passed at the finish line, Bagautinov kind of did the opposite. All it took was for him to put his hands down at 14:59 for Nam to sneak in that nasty head kick. Let that be a lesson to us all, fight until the very last second. Literally.
