And just like that, a regular Wednesday will potentially become a day in MMA history in which all ears will be glued to a conference call.

Announced just today on the MMA Hour from Ariel Helwani, the founder of #Bellator and former CEO Bjorn Rebney is spearheading an "industry defining announcement" this Wednesday with some huge names attached. Is Rebney the Professor Xavier putting together an MMA X-Men?!

MMA Fighting followed up for more juicy info, but all knowledge is under wraps until Wednesday.

The list of fighters associated with this upcoming event is staggering. There's no secret to #GSP's contentious past with the UFC and #TimKennedy as well as #DonaldCerrone have all been very outspoken — profanity-laced even — about the possibility of a fighter's union. While we have no idea if this is some sort of new organization, a union or the most epic game of paintball ever, the internet consensus is union.

It's interesting to mention that most of these fighters are also represented by the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a direct competitor of the new UFC owners, WME-IMG. Is this MMA's "New World Order"? Will they get cool black and white t-shirts and awesome taunts? We'll just have to wait and see.

The conference call goes down at 4pm ET on Wednesday, November 30th.

Here is Donald Cerrone saying he's 'f-ckin pro union'.
