A shocking upset opened the show and an exciting five-round battle featuring two top bantamweights closed it out when the UFC took over Portland with their 96th Fight Night event Saturday night.

John Lineker out-punched John Dodson 242-132 in the main event, but his aggression and willingness to push the pace made all the difference against a slick Dodson, who came close to outboxing him for the victory.

In the show's opener, Brandon Moreno tapped out Louis Smolka with a guillotine choke, in an upset that now disrupts the future of the flyweight title shot picture.

In the show's most controversial moment, after "Cowboy" Alex Oliveira knocked out former Bellator lightweight champion, Will Brooks, he threw a WWE Degeneration X crotch chop at Brooks. Brooks, still recovering from a barrage of punches, threw his mouthpiece at Oliveira, as the referee held the still discombobulated lightweight back.

Ahead of next weekend's middleweight title showdown between champion, Michael Bisping and Number 13 contender, Dan Henderson at UFC 204, the UFC just logged yet another thrilling show.
