Godofredo Pepey started quick and never let up before submitting Mike de la Torre with a rear naked choke at 3:04 of Round 1.

Pepey landed a huge spinning back kick in the first 30 seconds of the fight that hurt De la Torre, sending him flying back against the cage.

From there, Pepey swarmed like a pack of killer bees, stinging De la Torre with right hand after right hand.

De la Torre tried to fight back, fighting off two submission attempts after Pepey got his back, but tapped quickly after Pepey put the hold on for the third time.

Pepey moves to 14-4. He lost his last fight by unanimous decision.

"I am back. I a deserve another chance to fight a Top 10 guy," Pepey said via translator after the fight. "It's great to be back here."
