The newly crowned bantamweight champion, Cody Garbrandt, has listed the opponents he wants next and the order in which he wishes to fight them. Garbrandt intends to stamp his dominance on the bantamweight division before looking towards potential fights with featherweight champion Jose Aldo and lightweight champion Conor McGregor.

First up however, is former friend and teammate TJ Dillashaw. Both have been confirmed as coaches for the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, with a fight happening at the culmination of the series in the first half of 2017.

The war of words has already started between Garbrandt and Dillashaw. Recently, TJ claimed to have bested the champ multiple times in training, while Cody was quick to remind Dillashaw that he only ever held the interim title.

Season 25 of The Ultimate Fighter has already begun filming and is expected to air in April. The last time we saw and on the show the pair were at the heart of a skirmish started by Conor McGregor going all “Mystic Mac” and predicting Dillashaw’s defection from Team Alpha Male.

No longer having one another backs, expect a grudge-infused season.

Are you Team Garbrandt or Team Dillashaw?
