Conor McGregor walked Michael Conlan out at Madison Square Garden just like he promised, immediately causing a wild spectacle. After the former Olympian scored his first pro victory, it was suddenly the McGregor show. It was a no-brainer that this would be the perfect platform to continue the infinite Floyd Mayweather promotion, of course he wouldn't let the spotlight go to waste.

"Watch me take over boxing, trust me on that. No one in this boxing game knows what's coming. Trust me on that. When I step in there, I'm going to shock the whole goddamn world. Trust me on that. Look me in the eyes: 28 years of age, confident as a motherf-cker, long, rangy, dangerous with every hand. Trust me, I'm going to stop Floyd. You're all going to eat your words. The whole world is going to eat their words. I am boxing!"

Veins popping, spit flying as he screamed curses, it was clear that McGregor was steaming hot underneath a thick layer of blue velvet. You have to admit, it's absolute genius to pretty much hijack a Bob Arum promoted event at The Garden and use it to put Mayweather on blast. He invaded the enemies territory and begged him to respond on his own turf. That's just impressive. It's clear now that whenever McGregor puts on a long, obnoxious coat, then he's going to be peak wildman.
