is officially underway, and thanks to the dynamite-filled fists of Gregor Gillespie, it's off to a rockin' start.

Closing out the evening's Fight Pass prelims, the undefeated slugger (and New York native) made quick work of Andrew Holbrook, dropping him with a pinpoint accurate right hand on the feet before finishing him off on the ground with some vicious follow-up shots.

While Holbrook attempted to plead his case to the ref after the fight had been waved off, there was no doubt that he had seen enough. The victory came just 21 seconds into the first round, making it good enough to be the 6th fastest knockout in lightweight history.

The win was Gillespie's second straight in the UFC and 9th overall. One has to imagine that this one will earn "The Gift" a shot at a higher ranked opponent in the near future.
