Mark Hunt isn't happy with the UFC. The lawsuit he brought against his fight promotion is currently trying to get the suit dropped, conveniently days before he rematches Alistair Overeem at UFC 209, and now he's being paraded in front of the media seemingly against his will. But we all know that an ornery Hunt is possibly the best Hunt, especially when he has a microphone shoved into his face.
Interestingly enough, Hunt isn't all that ornery. He just didn't want to be in this position in the first place. He's fought multiple opponents in a row that have popped in their drug tests, and all he wants is a fair fight.
Hunt continues on explaining that when you fight against a cheater and lose, you get no benefits from it. That's a great point. Sure, the Athletic Commission might pocket some cash, but not the guy who is getting punched in the face by a guy full of juice.
Mark Hunt is also a 42-year-old man. He's getting way up there in fighting years, and he's still an elite heavyweight. And yet, he's been consistently matched up against "cheaters."
You can understand his frustration.
