NO! NOOOO! God please NO!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!

UFC 209 may just have taken an absolutely MASSIVE hit this morning, as it is being reported that co-main eventer Khabib Nurmagomedov has been hospitalized while cutting weight at this morning's weigh-ins.

This, this is not good – for Ferguson, for UFC 209, and especially for Nurmagomedov, who was previously scheduled to face "El Cucuy" twice before – back at the TUF 22 Finale in 2015 an at UFC on FOX 19 in April of 2016 – with both fighters being forced to pull out with injuries on one occassion. Considering the mountains of attention this fight was set to receive (and the mountains of trash-talk these two have been hurling at each other over the past few months), this would be an absolute heartbreaker for UFC 209.

Champions.co has spoken to someone inside Ferguson's camp and confirmed that they have yet to be informed of any potential problems with Nurmagomedov. If these reports are true, though, it makes Ferguson's warning to Khabib to "have fun with that weight cut" from the latest episode of Embedded seem downright psychic.

More on this as it develops, but in the meantime, let us pray...
