Johny Hendricks has struggled with making weight in the past and it sadly looks like the issues have not been resolved. Hendricks stepped on the scale Thursday morning at the UFC 207 weigh-ins (after giving an erratic interview yesterday) at 173.5, a full 2.5 pounds over the 171-pound, non-title limit for his division. This is the second time he has missed weight.

Hendrick's nearly missed weight ahead of his UFC 171 bout, but was able to disrobe and make the weight limit. He was removed from his UFC 192 bout due to intestinal blockage and a kidney stone attack suffered during the weight cut.

And, he most recently missed weight when he stepped on the scales at UFC 200 at 171.25. He would later go on to lose that fight via unanimous decision.

He was spotted in the sauna (with his opponent) trying to shed the remaining pounds while other fighters had already started weighing in.

Because Hendricks missed weight, he will now have to give 20% of his purse to his opponent, Neil Magny, if Magny chooses to still fight him.

Perhaps it's time for Hendricks to considering moving up in weight or getting a new weight cutting routine. This cannot be good for his health or his spirit.
