Welterweight title contender Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson exploded onto the MMA scene just six years ago. After compiling a 58-0 professional kickboxing record, the phenom made a flying leap from the ring to the cage, and hasn't looked back since.

His debut came on February 5, 2010 when he competed in Fight Party: Greenville Kage Fighting in Greenville, South Carolina. He faced Jeremy Joles and defeated him via second round TKO.

Watch the footage below and relive the debut of the #Wonderboy.

Thompson has gone on to amass a 13-1 professional #MMA record, with his single loss coming by way of decision to Matt Brown at UFC 145.

He is set to face welterweight champion Tyron Woodley at #UFC205 November 12.
