UFC fans won't have to travel to a galaxy far, far away in order to catch all the action on the highly-anticipated card.

In honor of the upcoming fight night at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Twitter user and MMA writer Simon Head shared an awesome, -style fan video to celebrate the historic pay-per-view event. The clip, titled "Episode 205: The Notorious Returns," hilariously breaks down the Conor McGregor vs. Eddie Alvarez matchup in the form of the sci-fi franchise's legendary opening sprawl.

While we aren't sure which UFC champion is supposed to be the Jedi master and which one is supposed to be the Sith lord, it's pretty clear that the video is trying to compare the promotion's new owners to the Death Star-loving Empire.

"New owners WME-IMG have taken charge of the Octagon and fighters and fans nervously await developments from the new regime," the sprawl says in the clip.

Surprisingly, the UFC and Star Wars have quite a bit in common. Both brands are worth billions of dollars and feature experienced fighters, who are just as good throwing down with their hands as they are with lightsabers.

As long as there isn't a disturbance in the Force, UFC 205 will hopefully go off without a hitch on November 12.
