UFC lightweight champion will face the biggest face in on Saturday night and he seems pretty pumped to put on a show.

"Look, I fought 13 years of my life to put myself on this stage on one of the biggest nights, in front of one of the biggest crowds," he said during his post open workout interview. "I am super excited to go out there and do something violent, something high pace."

He's got his work cut out for him as he's facing UFC featherweight champion who is on a mission to nab his second UFC title, which will make him the first man in UFC history to hold 2 simultaneous belts.

"I overcome challenges everyday," he said. "I want him to bring that dog out in me, bring me some fight please."

This will be Alvarez's first title defense since defeating Rafael dos Anjos at UFC Fight Night Las Vegas in July.

Alvarez faces McGregor this Saturday at 205, live from Madison Square Garden.
