Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone's UFC 205 fight against Kelvin Gastelum has been cancelled due to weight issues on Gastelum's part, and Cerrone is obviously none too happy about it.
"I'm about $150,000 worth of pissed off," Cerrone said to the media shortly after hearing the news.
Despite last minute fill in options (possibly Jacare Souza), there will not be a fight for Cerrone.
"The problem is the New York commission is too hard to deal with," he said. "No one could step in today and just make it."
Sounds like the commission has denied a last minute opponent for Cerrone.
Damn, Cowboy can't catch a break. He was originally supposed to face Robbie Lawler, but just two days after the fight announcement was made official, Lawler backed out.
He said that now he's set his eyes on Demian Maia
"The only fight that makes sense to me is Demian Maia," he said. "Just because he came off a good fight, he's not injured."
In typical Cerrone fashion he says he wants back in the Octagon as soon as possible, but not if that means fighting in Belfast, Ireland.
"No f**k you Irish motherf***ers," he laughed.
