Everyone has an opinion about the main event between UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor, and former UFC heavyweight champion Bas Rutten is no different.

Rutten broke down the main even for Epic MMA this week in his usual bangity bang style, and here's what he said.

Rutten goes on to compliment McGregor's striking precision and his ability to stay just outside of his opponents reach and says that due to this if there is a knockout in the first few rounds it will come from McGregor.

He continued by saying that Alvarez will push McGregor against the cage, constantly grinding and try to take him to the ground. He said the key for Alvarez will to be hanging on McGregor's neck and arms to induce lactic acid.

"He needs to get lactic acid in there or else he's going to pick Alvarez apart," he said.

He said that if the fight goes into the championship rounds, he gives it to Alvarez. He says that McGregor hasn't seen enough five rounds fights and his cardio will not hold up. Kind of like his first fight against Nate Diaz.
