Jimi Manuwa defeated Ovince Saint Preux at UFC 204 on Saturday, October 8.

Manuwa dropped Saint Preux via crushing knockout at 2:38 of the second round.

Saint Preux fired first, with Manuwa answering his strikes with kicks of his own. Saint Preux was able to curb the assault by putting his opponent up against the cage early in the round, peppering him with hard knees. Manuwa separated from OSP, and after a short exchange in the middle of the round, Saint Preux took Manuwa's back, but was unable to secure the finish, and they would go on to the second round.

Round two began with Manuwa trying for a standing guillotine that was unsuccessful, seeing the fight end up right back in the middle of the Octagon. Each fighter landed body shot after body shot until Manuwa threw a perfect shot to the liver followed by a right hook to the chin that knocked Saint Preux out cold.

This marks Manuwa's first win since his loss to Anthony Johnson at UFC 191.
