Former Team Alpha Male mates turned bitter rivals TJ Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt do NOT get along. Have you seen this? Have you heard about this? Not a day has gone by since they were announced as the TUF 25 coaches that one of them hasn't trashed the other one in the media, or threatened to release footage of one KOing the other that may not actually exist, or threatened to donate the earnings from said footage to charity. It's exhausting.

And now, in a pretty clear breech of pre-fight etiquette, the mothers are getting involved.

Not to interrupt Janice's Wikipedia entry on snakes, but I gotta agree with young Tyler Jeffrey here. It has already been established by noted pugilist Ronald Burgundy that mothers are to be left out of any ritual of pre-fight gamesmanship no matter how virulent the dislike between competitors lies. Even if it was Dillashaw's mother who got involved first; that's just a mother protecting her cub (or whatever baby snakes are called). Keith Jardine's mom did the exact same thing.

And who can forget Chris Weidman's dad reminding us of his paternal right to embarass his boy at UFC 194?

The point is, our parents will always be the the first ones cheering us and the first ones coming to our aid when we're wounded, so as long as Dillashaw can keep Garbrandt's parents out of this...

Oh noooooooooooo.........
