Tito Ortiz is probably hoping that his next big screen outing will be a bit more convincing than his recent retirement fight against Chael Sonnen.
The former UFC and Bellator star revealed over the weekend that he will appear in Tyler Perry's Boo! A Madea Halloween 2. The upcoming film is a sequel to Perry's 2016 comedy horror flick, which earned an impressive $74.8 million at the box office despite all the abysmal reviews by critics.
While there aren't any official details about his role or the film's release date, Ortiz seems to be down in Atlanta already to study up on his lines. Hopefully the former champ's latest gig will turn out better than his previous on screen appearances,
The Huntington Beach Bad Boy has a lot of time on his hands to pursue acting roles now that he's likely done with mixed martial arts. Ortiz retired for a second time from the sport following his submission win over Sonnen at Bellator 170 in January.
