Prices for the fight were released earlier today on the third party site TicketOffices.com (first reported by www.mikethetruth.com) and the cheapest seat in the venue on their site looks like it's going to cost you upwards of $2,000.
Official tickets prices are yet to be announced due to the venue still not being 100-percent confirmed.
The fight is expected to take place at the T-Mobile Arena, however, earlier today it was reported by TMZ that the rapper Ice Cube had already booked the venue for his BIG3 basketball league on August 26.
It's widely expected that a deal between the two parties will follow shortly, but with a floor seat already looking like it will cost you over $90,000, one shudders to think what that would become if the fight was held in the smaller MGM Grand Garden Arena.
It's interesting to compare this early ticket price steer with the prices that were doing the rounds during the time of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao. The Independent published a reported stating that only 1,000 of 16,500 tickets were put on general sale and that prices ranged from $1,500 to $7,000.
Unsurprisingly, the tickets sold out in seconds and fans were left with the sky-high prices on third party sites like TicketOffice and StubHub to get a seat in the MGM Grand for the fight. Ticket prices then surged to $5,855 for the cheapest seat, while others went up as far as $128,705 at ringside.
There's been no official confirmation of the McGregor vs. Mayweather pay-per-view price yet, but it's been speculated that it could range from $85 to $120.
Flight and hotel prices are sky rocketing by the day, so if you plan on descending Sin City for the fight on August 26, it's better you book now rather than letting the pre-fight hype build any further.
