Being a mixed martial artist is a pretty tough job, but trying to juggle that with a movie career is even tougher. Several stars and combat sports veterans have tried to make it big in Hollywood over the years, but only a few have found a significant amount of success in show business as the industry's best actors.

Ahead, here's our list of the 10 best MMA actors.

10. Tyron Woodley

UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is slowly putting together a nice acting reel while balancing a career in the Octagon. The champ has appeared in Straight Outta Compton, Kickboxer: Vengeance, as well as the Bollywood blockbuster Sultan. Woodley was also set to play a villain in Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming, but left the project due to a scheduling conflict with a another project for Fox.

9. Keith Jardine

MMA veteran Keith Jardine isn't a leading man, but his acting resume has grown considerable over the years. The former UFC star has appeared in several high-profile projects, including Preacher, John Wick, The Night Shift, Longmire, Inherent Vice, and Breaking Bad.

8. Michael Bisping

UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has his sights set on becoming an action star as well. Bisping recently landed a huge role as a bad guy in xXX: The Return of Xander Cage and is also set to have a part in the Twin Peaks series.

7. Cung Le

MMA veteran Cung Le has done his best to bring his high-flying martial arts moves to the movies. The former UFC star has appeared in several action flicks, including The Man with the Iron Fists, Dragon Eyes, and The Grandmaster.

6. Georges St-Pierre

Georges St-Pierre doesn't have an extensive acting resume, but he's stayed true to his fighting roots with projects such as Never Surrender and Kickboxer: Vengeance. His biggest role came in 2014 when he fought Captain America as the villain Batroc the Leaper in Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

had a ton of big movie offers thrown at her during her initial run as a UFC champion. The Olympian initially made a splash as an action star in The Expendables 3 and Furious 7. She's also proven to be versatile as a performing, showing off her comedy chops in shows and flicks like Saturday Night Live, Drunk History, and Entourage.

4. Randy Couture

Although his days in the Octagon are done, former UFC champion Randy Couture has found success with a second career in entertainment. Couture's notable credits include Cradle 2 the Grave, The Expendables trilogy, and Hawaii Five-0,

3. Gina Carano

Gina Carano has turned her stardom in the cage into a successful run in show business. The MMA pioneer impressed audiences with her action skills in Haywire and Fast & Furious 6 before getting the chance to throw down in Marvel's X-Men universe as a baddie in the critically-acclaimed Deadpool.

2. Dave Bautista

Dave Bautista may only have one professional MMA fight on his record, but the ex- star is definitely a familiar name to combat sports fans. Bautista is quickly becoming a hot commodity in Hollywood thanks to his breakout role in Guardians of the Galaxy. His next big gig will be in the 2017 Blade Runner sequel.

1. Oleg Taktarov

This may seem like a controversial pick, but Oleg Taktarov can definitely be considered the best fighter turned actor due to his sheer volume of roles alone. Although he's not headlining blockbusters or gracing movie posters, the Russian MMA veteran has carved out a long lasting career in show business as a go-to tough guy. Taktarov's credits include parts in Air Force One, Bad Boys II, National Treasure, NCIS, and Predators.
