It sounds like #WWE megastar John Cena has landed another big role in an awesome comedy movie.

According to Variety, Cena is set to star in the upcoming film The Pact, opposite actress Leslie Mann and #SuicideSquad actor Ike Barinholtz. Helmed by first-time director and Pitch Perfect screenwriter Kay Cannon, the project will reportedly revolve around three parents who try to stop their daughters from fulfilling a pact to lose their virginities during prom night.

In addition to the awesome cast, The Pact is being produced by veteran comedic actor and #Preacher executive producer Seth Rogen. The Pineapple Express star's frequent collaborator, Evan Goldberg, is also attached as a producer.

This concerned parents hijinks film is the latest comedy project for Cena, who's proven he can bring the laughs on the big screen with his myriad of recent funny roles.

The WWE icon made a huge splash while playing Amy Schumer's love interest in last year's breakout film Trainwreck. Cena followed the role up with a notable appearance in Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's 2015 comedy Sisters. The wrestler turned actor even had a hilarious cameo in Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell's family flick Daddy's Home to finish out the year.

Although The Pact doesn't have a release date yet, expect Cena to bring his comedy A-game when the film finally hits theaters.
