Ronda Rousey has a big announcement, and it's not her return to the Octagon.
Rousey and her boyfriend of two years, Travis Browne, are engaged to be married. According to TMZ, Rousey is hoping to get married quickly but admits that she doesn't know how long planning a wedding will actually take.
Browne proposed to Rousey while the two were in New Zealand last week.
Our advice for Rousey is to do it right the first time and hope that there isn't a second time. For Browne, this will be marriage number two, with his first ending unceremoniously when his ex-wife accused him of striking her.
Rousey and Browne have been inseparable since making their relationship public in the Fall of 2015. They've been there for each other's triumphs and throughout their current MMA struggles.
UFC President Dana White sent his well-wishes to the couple.
"I'm very happy for Ronda and I'm looking forward to the wedding," White told TMZ.
Browne is currently scheduled to fight Aleksei Oleinik at UFC 213, but Rousey has yet to comment on her future in MMA. The last we saw Ronda she was on the wrong end of an Amanda Nunes flurry of punches.
Recent Octagon struggles notwithstanding, the two are extremely happy with their relationship and their careers are a second thought at this moment.
