A light heavyweight bout between Alexander Gustafsson and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira is scheduled to headline UFC Fight Night 100 in Brazil.
The news was reported by Brazilian news outlet Combate.
Gustafsson recently returned to the win column earlier this month by defeating Jan Błachowicz via unanimous decision in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 93. Prior to that, the Swedish fighter was on a two-fight losing streak with losses to top light heavyweights Anthony Johnson and Daniel Cormier. Gustafsson is 9-4 since joining the UFC and 17-4 as a professional fighter.
Meanwhile, his opponent, Nogueira, is in a very similar situation as Gustafsson's. The Brazilian fighter is coming off a first-round technical knockout win over Patrick Cummins at UFC 198 earlier this year. Before that, "Little Nog" suffered back-to-back loses to Anthony Johnson and Maurício Rua. The 40-year-old light heavyweight is 22-7 as a professional fighter, and he's 5-4 since joining the UFC roster in 2009.
UFC Fight Night 100 is set to take place on Nov. 19 at Ginásio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil. A bantamweight bout between Pedro Munhoz and Justin Scoggins is the only other fight that has been announced for the card.
