After nearly winning it all on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, UFC strawweight Paige VanZant now has a new reality show contest to conquer.

The mixed martial arts superstar hopes to bounce back from her recent loss in the Octagon by coming up victorious in the kitchen on an upcoming celebrity edition of Food Network's Chopped. VanZant will be one of 16 stars who's set to throw down in order to try and win some big bucks for their charities of choice.

VanZant took to her social media accounts on Monday to announce the big news.

According to a release by Food Network, VanZant will face off against "culinary muscle" and fellow athletes Dorothy Hamill, LaMarr Woodley, and Mariel Zagunis in the first round of the competition. Should the MMA star survive the opening round, she'd then face other notable celebs in an ultimate final kitchen throw down.

Positively driven to compete, four star athletes battle it out in the kitchen for a spot in the finale. An exceptionally weird flavor of soda and a cheesy dish are two of the basket stumpers the competitors face in the appetizer round, and one competitor asks another for a surprising favor at the end of the round. The judges get three distinct lamb dishes from a threesome of sports stars in the entree round. The two athletes who get to rock the dessert round get rock candy as one of their mandatory ingredients.

As a rising UFC contender, expect VanZant to put a healthy spin on her dishes.

VanZant's appearance on Food Network's Chopped is scheduled to air on Tuesday, April 4 at 10 pm EST / 9 pm CST.
