Another day, another MMA fighter throwing serious shade at . This time it's the turn of featherweight champion, .

A staple in the European MMA scene, Pimblett is currently running through the promotion's roster during his eight-fight win streak. And at Paddy Pimblett got his hands on 's old featherweight belt.

Due to their similar rise in popularity within the Cage Warriors brand, the Liverpudlian has been compared to the Irish fighter on numerous occasions. Although many would be humbled by being compared to the "Notorious," Paddy "The Baddy" takes issue with it.

When it comes to UFC 205, Pimblett is . This decision hasn't come from the standpoint of a fan, but rather for his disdain of McGregor. Pimblett believes the native Dubliner has lost touch with where he came from, placing money above his love for the sport. Paddy has also previously stated that he hopes to be the first man in history to simultaneously hold two weight division belts inside the UFC, a feat Conor may achieve this weekend.

Pimblett has already expressed his desire to drag the UFC back to his home city of Liverpool. The twenty-one-year-old has plans to do in the UK what McGregor has done for MMA in Ireland.

However, before Pimblett can even start thinking of a fight against Conor McGregor, he must defend his own belt this weekend at CW Unplugged against Julian Erosa. The event will air on BT Studios in a prized slot just before the network airs its coverage of UFC 205.

UFC 205 will see the promotion make its New York debut at the iconic Madison Square Garden venue. Alvarez vs. McGregor headlines the event with a co-main featuring vs. , and vs. .
