The singer turned mixed martial arts enthusiast has been spending a lot of time in the gym lately and apparently wants to test out her skills in a real fight. Well, that's according to an interview TMZ did with her coach and Fox Sports analyst Jay Glazer.
The NFL and MMA insider, who frequently trains Lovato at his Unbreakable Performance Center complex in Hollywood, said that his famous student is itching to get into the cage and has the arsenal to back it up.
"She's brought it up to us like a million times," Glazer said. "She has that mindset."
According to Glazer, Lovato has some mean elbows and doesn't take kindly to partners who go easy on her during training.
"She throws elbows better than most of the UFC guys that come in there," Glazer said. "She's more violent than most and then she gets mad if we don't kind of get after her harder. She's definitely one of our fighters, without a doubt."
The trainer/analyst praised Lovato for her grit and tenacity, saying that he wished many of the UFC and Bellator guys that he trains with took after her mindset.
Glazer even admitted that the singer gave him "the worst bruise I've had so far," following one of their sessions in the gym.
"She's a bad little lioness," Glazer said. "Don't mess with her."
Judging by her Instagram posts, that's probably good advice.
