Nate Diaz hasn't fought in the UFC since his UFC 202 loss to Conor McGregor and hasn't said much in regards to when he may compete in the Octagon again. Although speculation about his return and next opponent has lingered for the past several months, fans were left in the dark when it came to his future in MMA. Diaz finally broke his silence when speaking to Ariel Helwani and left us with more questions than answers.
Diaz appeared on a special edition of The MMA Hour today, prompting many to speculate that he would be announcing a potential bout with someone — anyone.
In fact, he says that he was offered a fight with Ferguson at UFC 213 on July 8th in Las Vegas and he accepted, but then had second thoughts and declined the fight due to "circumstances."
He'd rather wait for McGregor and Ferguson to fight and he'll take the winner.
He hasn't fought since his UFC 202 loss to #ConorMcGregor in August 2016 and it looks like he is in no hurry to get back into the Octagon.
