It’s been almost two months since my last fight, and I’m happy to announce that I finally have another one lined up. I’ll be fighting Ralph Acosta on May 5 at Combate Americas 14. The fight is in Ventura, California, really close to my home in Thousand Oaks.

The last couple months have been a really interesting time in my career. After winning two titles at Gladiator Challenge, I’ve been looking for bigger opportunities to fight on TV. The fight at Combate couldn’t have come at a better time.

I fought for once before. They’re a big promotion that is broadcast on UFC Fight Pass and Azteca TV. The exposure should be great for me, especially since I’m trying to fight full time, sooner than later.

Hopefully my next fight for Combate will go better than the last time I fought for them. I took that fight on eight days notice, and it’s still the only loss on my pro record. I took that fight knowing it was gonna be a good fight -- I actually fought Jonathan Quiroz as an amateur and I won that one --- he wanted a rematch, so I gave it to him.

For my next fight, Ralph at I agreed to a catchweight at 140 pounds. I actually thought I’d continue my career at 135, but it's relatively short notice for Ralph, so I'm okay with the catchweight.

This next step is very exciting for me, so the fight at Combate Americas is definitely a big deal. Hopefully it’ll lead to bigger and bigger things, and anyone who's looking to check out the fight can hit me up on social media for tickets.
