Conor McGregor has changed the way the UFC works, wether you like it or not.

McGregor exploded onto the scene just three years ago when he made his UFC debut against Marcus Brimage at UFC on Fuel TV 9. He has gone on to star in more than one record breaking pay-per-view, and is partly responsible for fighters demanding higher pay.

After his UFC 205 bout, he will have fought in three different weight classes in under a year.

Here's a timeline of the four fights in three weight classes, plus the dates:

  • Dec. 2015 - Jose Aldo - 145 pounds
  • March 2016 and August 2016 - Nate Diaz - 170 pounds
  • November 2016 - Eddie Alvarez - 155 pounds * Bout has not happened yet

McGregor is the current featherweight champion, but is hoping for the lightweight belt next.

He is on track to be the first UFC fighter to hold titles in two weight classes.
