#ConorMcGregor has been living a pretty lavish lifestyle ever since he became the wealthiest man in the UFC, to say the least. He dons only the finest custom-made suits. He drives only the fanciest cars (some of which aren't even his). He carries around bags of cash so large that you'd think he just robbed a bank. And now, he's completed the rockstar quadfecta by engaging in a good ol' fashioned hotel room destruction.
While partying his way across Liverpool in the latest leg of his Maternity Leave World Tour last week, McGregor not only ended up netting over $40,000 from the Grand National races at Aintree, but may have cost himself even more than that in damages rendered to his Aintree hotel suite.
Among the wreckage (the majority of which was reportedly caused by "his pals"), however, the hotel's cleanup crew happened to find a couple dozen cans of nitrous oxide (aka whippits), leading to speculation about just how hard the lightweight champions parties in his off time.
According to The Sun, the damage was so sufficient that McGregor "hired specialists to clean up after thousands of pounds of damage" in his 300-pound-a-night suite.
“There were [whippit] canisters all over the floor, smashed glass and food lying about. They damaged sofas and left cig butts and his Irish flag. He got people in there to clean because of the level of damage. It’s just been carnage. Just full-on partying."
Currently teasing his next fight announcement, it seems that McGregor is having one hell of a last hurrah before settling into the crippling realities of both fatherhood and the fight game. He might want to slow it down a little, though, before he finds himself asking "Where'd my money go?" for real.
