"The Conor McGregor fight, I don't know if it's going to happen," said Mayweather. "If it do, it do, and if it don't, it don't."
As previously stated, the Mayweather and McGregor posturing is nearing two years and has no foreseeable end in sight. Whether it's because of McGregor's high demands, the UFC's reluctance to step aside, or Mayweather's lackadaisical approach to negotiating, there's definitely a disconnect between all sides involved.
Mayweather touched on the convolution.
"If Conor McGregor really wants to fight to happen, stop blowing smoke up everybody's a**; sign the paper," Mayweather said. "You said you're a boss, just sign the paper, and let's make it happen."
It is widely known that as popular as McGregor has become, he is still contracted by the UFC, and without their blessing the speculated "billion dollar fight" won't happen.
