He may not be a household name, but there's no denying that Li Jingliang is a baaaaddd man.
On the heels of an "unofficial Fight of the Night"-earning knockout of Bobby Nash at UFC Denver last week, "The Leech" is apparently looking to up his stock among casual fans by taking out former WWE superstar CM Punk next.
Taking to Twitter after his big win, the Chinese welterweight threw down the gauntlet for Punk, saying he'd "kill him in a round."
Obviously, the chances of this fight actually coming to fruition lie somewhere between "ain't gonna" and "happen." Although Punk has been "throwing names" at Dana White for his potential UFC return, it would be safe to assume that a 4-2 UFC veteran on a two-fight KO streak has not been one of them. Mickey Gall, for instance, had less than 6 fights total when they fought (and still does!) before effortlessly submitting Punk in the first round of their UFC 203 scrap.
Still though, you can't hate Jinliang for having a dream, can you?
